Let your dog do what comes naturally: sniff out their food. Hide kibble or small treats in the soft fabric strips, and your dog has to use their nose to find every piece.
Sniffing is mentally tiring in a good way, so 10 minutes on a snuffle mat can settle a dog as well as a walk. It's brilliant for rainy days, fast eaters and dogs who get bored at home.
